Aelbert Jansz. van der Schoor was a Dutch Old Masters painter who was born in 1603. He is documented in Utrecht between 1620 and 1672, but also in Dordrecht and perhaps in Enkhuizen. Working as a painter of still-lifes, historical scenes and genre pieces, the artist also executed at least 12 portraits. He died in Utrecht in 1672.
