Arjan Martins de Azevedo, known as Arjan Martins, is a Brazilian painter born in 1960 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is known for his large-scale paintings that often depict Afro-Brazilian culture and history. Martins studied at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil and internationally. His work is part of important collections such as the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro and the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo.
