She was born in Berlin, Germany in 1950 and is recognized as one of the leading specialists in the study of the innate temperament trait of high sensitivity. Aron has published numerous books and scholarly articles on the subject, and along with her husband, Dr. Arthur Aron, are two of the leading scientists studying the trait.
