Hale Tenger is a visual artist based in Istanbul. She was born in İzmir, Turkey in 1960 and is known for her large-scale installations that explore identity, collective memory, and political violence. Using sculpture, video, and sound, her work has been exhibited at numerous public institutions around the world.
