Titi Freak, also known as Hamilton Yokota, is a Brazilian street artist born in São Paulo in 1974. He began writing graffiti in 1995, drawing inspiration from both Eastern and Western cultures, as well as his Japanese heritage and Brazilian upbringing. Titi Freak is known for painting on alternative surfaces such as sake boxes, garage doors, and bar tops, and has exhibited his work in galleries such as Jonathan Levine Projects. He has also collaborated with local groups in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, an area devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake, to launch a graffiti project. Titi Freak has been the subject of an interview on Wochikochi.jp, where he discussed the power of graffiti. He has also worked as a comic book designer for national and international publications, including works for Maurício de Souza, Disney, and Marvel.
