Jackeline Romio is a black feminist activist and researcher in demography. She was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1980. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo. Romio is known for her work on eradicating femicides and exposing the impacts of gender-based violence in Latin America. She is also an artist, with a painting titled 'Ana de Jesus' that was completed in 2020. Romio is a prominent voice in the fight against femicide and gender-based violence in Brazil and Latin America.
