Životopis:

Li Jinfa, also known as Li Shuliang, was a Chinese poet and sculptor born in Mei, China in 1900 and died in 1976. He studied in Shanghai and went to Paris in 1922-1923. He lived in America after 1951. His 'Souvenirs d'une vie littéraire' were published in New York in 1964. He followed courses at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Dijon and Paris. He adopted the pseudonym Jinfa after dreaming of a blonde girl who healed him, calling her his 'angel'. He was particularly impressed by the sculpture of Acis and Galatée at the Fontaine Médicis in Paris, which influenced his decision to become a sculptor. He lived in Berlin before returning to China with his future wife.
