Samuel Rodriguez is an artist from San Jose, United States. He is a Mexican-American artist who explores cultural hybridity and identity through a variety of mediums. He is known for his work in graffiti, graphic design, and tattoo art. Rodriguez often collaborates with his partner, Orly Locquiao, with whom he founded the brand Cukui in 2008. Cukui is a brand that is 'rooted from a melting pot of Chicanos, South Pacific Islanders, tattoo artists, and graffiti heads.' Rodriguez and Locquiao have also worked together on murals, including the Cukui Mural at POW! WOW! Hawaii 2013.
