Tamara Kvesitadze is a Georgian artist and sculptor. She is best known for her sculpture 'Man and Woman', later renamed 'Ali and Nino', designed in 2007 and installed on the seafront in Batumi, Georgia since 2010. The sculpture is a kinetic sculpture that moves and interacts with each other. She is also known for her sculpture 'Revolving Woman' created in 2003. She was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1968. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Georgia. She began her career by making dolls and later moved on to sculptures. She has exhibited her work in various countries including the United States and Europe. She has also presented her sculptures at the 52nd Venice Biennale in 2007. She has also lived and worked in Italy and the United States. She currently resides and works in Tbilisi, Georgia.
