Životopis:
Echi Yoshifune is a Japanese artist who is traditionally attributed to the creation of the Noh Mask, Kokushikijō. The mask is made of painted Japanese cypress wood and was created during the Muromachi period in the 15th century. Not much is known about Echi Yoshifune, but the mask is considered a national treasure in Japan and is housed in the Tokugawa Art Museum in Nagoya. The mask is used in Noh theater performances and represents the character Kokushikijō, a loyal retainer of the famous Japanese historical figure Yoshitsune Minamoto.
