Mirko Smerdel is an Italian artist born in Prato in 1978. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and then at the NABA in Milan. He is known for his compositions of postcards and his work in the field of contemporary visual research. He is a member of the collective DISCIPULA, founded with Marco Paltrinieri and Tommaso Tanini. His work has been exhibited in various galleries and museums, including the Venice Biennale. He currently lives and works in Milan.
