Norma Kamali (née Arraez; born June 27, 1945) is an American fashion designer. She is best known for the "sleeping bag" coat, garments made from silk parachutes, and versatile multi-use pieces. She invented many firsts in fashion throughout her 56 years in her own business. Her fascination for technology has been used throughout her career. She is a proponent of a healthy lifestyle and livestreams her workouts at 12 noon (NYC) with her staff for all to join in globally.
