Biografi:

Davyd Plaksin was a Russian artist born in Leningrad, Russia in 1934 and died in 2012. He graduated from the prestigious Serov Leningrad Art College in 1957 and was part of the Leningrad Gorkoma artistic movement from 1975 onwards. In 1980, he became an active member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Plaksin was known for his strong interest in typography and a need for meaning within his chosen imagery. He had a solo exhibition at Erarta Galleries London in 2013, titled 'Structure'. Plaksin's work is held in the permanent collection of the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art.
