Mediocre-Portrait, wahrscheinlich aus einer Inzision von Agostino Carracci (1557-1602) oder von der von Hieronymus Wierix (1553-1619), die den Papst repräsentiert, der Gregorio XIV., starb zwei Motten nach seiner Wahl am 30. Dezember 1591. Geboren 1519 in Bologna nach dem Abschluss im Gesetz, in den Dienst des Kardinals Nicolò Ardinghelli, dann bei Avignone als Sekretär des Kardinals Alessandro Farnese, der ihn nach Parma als Gouverneur schickte. In den vier Jahren seines parmense sojourn Facchinetti war Mitglied des Capitolo der Kirche von Saint Donnino und Erzpriester von Siccomonte, die die Anwesenheit seines Porträts in Fidenza rechtfertigte.
