Giovanni Andrea Coppola was an Italian painter. He was born in Gallipoli, Italy in 1597 and died in 1659. Coppola studied medicine but later became a painter. He worked on several projects, including the decoration of the Basilica Concattedrale di Sant'Agata and the Chiesa Madre Casarano. His style is influenced by the manierismo fiorentino and he may have traveled to other parts of Italy during his career.
