Mary Tayloe Lloyd Key, also known as Mary Tayloe Key, was an American artist born on May 26, 1784, in Talbot County, Maryland, USA. She died on May 18, 1859, in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States. She was the wife of Francis Scott Key, the author of the American national anthem 'The Star-Spangled Banner'. Mary Tayloe Lloyd Key was a quilter and is known for her work 'Grandmother’s Flower Garden' (1840, cotton).
