Muhammad ibn Aybak ibn `Abdullah al-Nasiri was a 13th-century Egyptian artist, born in Cairo in 1256. He was a well-known calligrapher and illuminator of his time, and was known for his work in the Maghribi script. He was also known for his work on the Qur'an, and is best known for his opening folio from a Qur'an, dated 1305. He died in Cairo in 1316.
