Tarshito, also known as Nicola Strippoli, is a renowned contemporary Italian artist, architect, and art professor. He was born in Corato, Italy, in 1952 and received his bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1979. Tarshito's work is multimedia and he is actively engaged in collaborations with traditional indigenous art around the world. He has worked with artists from countries such as Morocco, Mexico, Peru, South Korea, Bangladesh, China, Brazil, Thailand, Colombia, Argentina, Myanmar, Mongolia, and many others. Tarshito's artworks have been exhibited in museums around the world, including the Craft Museum in Delhi, India; the National Museum in Szczecin, Poland; Triennale in Milan, Italy; the City Museum in Kathmandu, Nepal; the National Museum in Dhaka, Bangladesh; and the Lapidarium Museum in Zagabria, Croatia. He has also exhibited in galleries in Delhi and Kolkata, India, and has had his works shown in the Italian Institute of Culture in various cities around the world.
