Paul Seawright is a Northern Irish artist, born in Belfast in 1965. He is the professor of photography and Deputy Vice Chancellor (previously Executive Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Belfast School of Art) at Ulster University in Belfast/Derry/Coleraine. Seawright's photographic work is exhibited and collected worldwide. He is known for his social documentary photography, which often explores marginalized communities, social realism, and working class life in the North East of England.
