Bob McDonnell is an American politician who served as the 71st Governor of Virginia from 2010 to 2014. He was a member of the Republican Party and also held positions such as Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, Virginia House of Delegates from 1992 to 2006, Attorney General of Virginia from 2006 to 2009. McDonnell is known for his advocacy of privatization and promotion of offshore drilling during his tenure as Governor.
