Valery Pavlovich Ovsyannikov is a Russian artist, born in Leningrad, Russia in 1962. He is known for his artworks in various mediums, including watercolor. He is also a conductor and has been the musical director of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet since 1990. Ovsyannikov has also appeared as a guest conductor at the Royal Opera House in London and the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. He is a recipient of the title 'People's Artist of Russia'.
