Abraham Drentwett, also known as Abraham II Drentvett, was a German artist born in Augsburg in 1647 and died in the same city in 1729. He was a wax sculptor who created allegorical representations of important historical events and figures. One of his most famous works is 'Die Glückseligkeit des Königreichs Preußen', an allegorical depiction of the reign of King Frederick I of Prussia. Drentwett's works were highly regarded for their intricate detail and realistic portrayal of their subjects.
