AP Kanvinde was an Indian architect who worked predominantly with the elements of Brutalist and functionalist approaches. He is considered as one of forefathers of modern Indian architecture, with a professional career spanning five decades. Born in 1916 in Achara, Konkan region of Maharashtra, India, Kanvinde passed away on December 28, 2002.
