Biography:

Aixa Requena Felis is a Spanish artist born in Bilbao in 1988. She is a painter, photographer, video and digital artist, and creator of installations. Requena earned her bachelor's degree in art from the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras and continued her studies at the Art Students League of San Juan. She is currently based in Bordeaux, France, where she works as a client relationship manager and planner for the University of Bordeaux. Requena is also an alumni of the Le Campus de Bordeaux and has exhibited her work in various institutions, including the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, the UNESCO Multimedia Archives, the Compañía de Turismo de Puerto Rico, and the Wissenschaftsforum Markgrafenstraße 37 in Berlin.
