Biography:
Alfonso Goldini was born in Bologna, Italy in 1863 and died in 1898 in Budrio. He was a scenographer and studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna from 1879 to 1885. He is known for his scenography for the opera Aida in 1883 and for his work as a scenographer at the Teatro Regio in Torino. He also painted the sipario storico, a historical curtain, for the Teatro La Nuova Fenice Osimo. He is still a subject of study and research.
