Alfred Guesdon was a French artist born in Nantes in 1808 and died in the same city in 1876. He was a painter, lithographer and architect. He studied at the Collège de Nantes and then at the École des beaux-arts de Paris. He is known for his lithographies and architectural works. He is the author of the engraving 'Cordoba. A view over Guadalquivir'.
