Biography:
Alison Lambert is a British artist known for her powerful and monumental drawings of the human form. She was born in England in 1957 and studied at Leek School of Art and Design and Coventry Polytechnic, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1984. Since then, she has focused on creating large-scale charcoal drawings that explore the human figure and face. Her works have been exhibited internationally and are held in numerous private and public collections including the Victoria & Albert Museum.
