Antonie Louis Koster, signed as Anton L. Koster, was a Dutch painter and designer. He was born in Terneuzen, Netherlands on August 8, 1859 and died in Haarlem, Netherlands on May 28, 1937. Koster was best known as a landscape artist and was a member of the artist club Kunst zij ons doel in Haarlem. He studied painting at the academy of art in The Hague and embarked on a two-year study trip to the Pyrenees. Koster's work has been featured in exhibitions at Rijksmuseum Twenthe and his paintings have been sold at Christie's. He is represented in the collections of the Rijksmuseum and the useum.org. Koster's work is also available on Artvee and the Wikimedia Commons.
