Biography:

Athar Jaber is an Iraqi sculptor born in Rome, Italy in 1982. He grew up in several countries including Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium and Antwerp. His artistic practice mainly focuses on stone sculpture, but also includes performance, video, photography and text. Athar Jaber's work has been exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions around the world, and is part of various private and public collections. He currently lives and works in Abu Dhabi and Antwerp.
