Biography:
Attila Sassy, also known as Aiglon, was a Hungarian painter and graphic artist born in Miskolc, Hungary in 1880 and died in Budapest in 1967. He studied art in Budapest, Munich and Paris, and was associated with the circles of modern artists in Paris and Nagybánya, the cradle of modern Hungarian painting. He became known mostly for his Art Nouveau graphics and his series of erotic 'Opiate Dreams'. He participated in the group exhibition 'Ősemberek [Prehistoric Humans] VII.' at the Művészház.
