Baldassarre Carrari, also known as Baldassarre Carrari il Giovane, was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. He was born in Forlì, Italy around 1460 and died in his hometown on February 14, 1516. He was a pupil of the painter Niccolò Rondinelli and was active in both Forlì and Ravenna from 1486 until his death. He was a relative of Baldassarre Carrari il Vecchio and was considered a distant follower of Melozzo da Forlì, painting with a style influenced by Lorenzo Costa and Niccolo Rondinelli of Ravenna.
