The Black Liberation Front (BLF) was a radical Black Power organization founded in 1971 in London, England. The BLF had significant impact on the Black British political landscape while also developing links with liberation struggles in Africa and throughout the African diaspora. The group was active until 1993 and was known for its efforts around the creation of housing and community spaces, as well as its involvement in various political campaigns and demonstrations.
