Biography:

Cally Spooner is a British Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1983. She is known for her essays, multimedia installations, and performances. Spooner studied philosophy after studying dance and theater for several years. The body, and gesture become devices for transcribing her writing into visual and vocal vocabulary. Her work has been shown in multiple venues, including Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, Lafayette Anticipations, and Centre Pompidou. She is also the author of the performance artwork 'And You Were Wonderful, On Stage' and the musical film of the same name.
