Biography:

Emile-Auber Pigeon was a French ecclésiastique and historian. He was born on September 2, 1829, in Saint-Pair-sur-Mer, France. He studied at the Collège d'Avranches and later became a priest. He served as a curé of the Mont-Saint-Michel for two years and was also responsible for the publication of the Semaine religieuse. He wrote several books on history and architecture, including 'Description historique et monumentale du Mont Saint-Michel'. Pigeon died on February 22, 1902, in Coutances, France.
