Christiaan Immerzeel was a Dutch 19th Century painter who was born in Haarlem, Netherlands in 1808. He was the son of Johannes Immerzeel, painter and compiler of the famous 'Lexicon of Dutch and Flemish artists'. He was active in Ghent and Haarlem from 1802 until 1840, the year of his death. He was known for his paintings of landscapes and figures. His work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
