Biography:

Clementina Rivera is a Guna (Kuna) artist from Panama. She is known for her beaded wrist and leg ornaments, called 'wini and tubelleras'. She is also known for her work with molas, which are intricately embroidered panels that are a traditional part of Guna clothing. Rivera's work has been exhibited at the National Museum of the American Indian and she has been featured in articles by Le Monde, Radio-Canada, and Britannica Kids. She is an important figure in the preservation and celebration of Guna culture.
