Biography:
Donna J. Neary is a self-taught artist and a Marine Corps reservist. She was commissioned as a captain in the Marine Corps Reserve and served as a combat artist. She is known for her paintings of Marine Corps history and her illustrations of Marine Corps uniforms. She is the owner of an art gallery in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is also known for her paintings of the 4th Marine Division landing on Iwo Jima in 1945 and the Air Lift in Fly Marines! The Centennial of Marine Corps Aviation: 1912-2012. She is also the author of U.S. Marine Corps Uniforms 1983 (1984).
