Biography:
Danilo Guidetti was an Italian painter. He studied with the sculptor Giuseppe Brigoni and often participated in meetings with painters from the Castiglione group led by Oreste Marini. Guidetti belonged to the 'second generation' of Mantuan chiaristi. His work is characterized by a sophisticated and fascinating style, often featuring juxtapositions of light and shadow. He was influenced by the Castiglionese school and was part of the same artistic movement as Mario Porta.
