Dareen Farag is a Palestinian-Lebanese broadcast journalist and artist based in Doha, Qatar. She was born on March 31, 1984, in Doha, Qatar. Dareen is widely experienced internationally and has worked for prestigious organizations such as Bloomberg L.P., CNBC, World Bank, and Qatar Airways. She has also worked with the United Nations at summits. Dareen is currently working as the principal news presenter, host, and moderator for Al Jazeera English. In addition to her journalism career, Dareen is also an artist who describes herself as an 'imaginative being, captivated by colors, fascinated by shades, and obsessed with biology.' She is the author of the artwork 'The Climate Clock'.
