Biography:

David Costa is an English graphic designer, art director and musician. He was born on November 18, 1947, in London, England. His grandfather was a songwriter and pianist with the Savoy Orpheans, and his father was the singer and radio presenter Sam Costa. Costa attended Merchant Taylors' public school and pursued Fine Arts at the University of East Anglia in 1966. He left university in early 1969 to form the folk-rock band Trees, recording two albums before leaving to pursue freelance graphic design. Costa has worked with notable artists such as Queen, Elton John, Anastacia, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, The Beatles, and Phil Collins. He has also been involved in various design projects, including album sleeves, magazine redesigns, and tour programs.
