Deborah Rael-Buckley is a sculptor, writer, educator, and independent curator born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1953. She is known for her ceramic sculptural work that tells stories of contained memory and personal, cultural, historical, and biological imagery. Rael-Buckley's work has been published extensively and she has received numerous awards for her contributions to the art world. She currently lives and works in Taos, New Mexico.
