Biography:

Diana Varakuta, also known as Diana Grigorievna Varakuta, was born in 1949 in Chernigov, Ukraine. She studied at the Kiev Art Institute until 1965. Since 1976, she has participated in regional, republican, and international art exhibitions and has had personal exhibitions in Chernigov in 1999 and 2000. She is still active in Chernigov. Varakuta is known for her impressionist style and her landscapes, which can be found in art museums and private collections in Russia, the USA, England, Italy, and throughout the world. Her works have been exhibited in the Google Arts & Culture platform, where her paintings 'Autumn landscape' (1995) and 'Hurzuf' can be found.
