Donnus Nicolaus Germanus

Biography:

Nicolaus Germanus, also known as Donnus Nicolaus Germanus, was a German cartographer born in Germany. He was active in the 15th century and is known for modernizing Ptolemy's Geography by applying new projections, adding additional maps, and contributing other innovations that were influential in the development of Renaissance cartography. His existence is attested from 1466 to 1482.
