Dora Koch-Stetter was a German landscape artist, portrait-painter and etcher. She was born on May 4, 1881 in Bayreuth, Germany and died on January 16, 1968 in Ahrenshoop, East Germany. She studied art in Berlin and was a pupil of Conrad Fehr, Johannes Heise, Lovis Corinth and Arthur Segal. She was a member of the Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen and her works have been exhibited in various museums and galleries. She is known for her landscape paintings and portraits, and her style is characterized by her use of color and light. Her works are highly regarded and have been sold for high prices at auctions.
