Biography:
Earl Eugene Staley was an American artist born in Houston, Texas in 1938. He was known for his watercolor paintings, including the piece 'Skull with Snakes'. Staley received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston in 1961 and his Master of Fine Arts degree from the same institution in 1963. He then went on to teach at the University of Houston, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, and the University of Texas at Austin. Staley's work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and he has received various awards and recognitions for his contributions to the art world. He passed away in 2014.
