Biography:

Elaine Stonebraker is an American artist known for her quilts. One of her most famous works is 'Rising Moons', created in 1988. She has also been involved in the C&O Canal Trust, where she has served as an overnight guest at their lockhouses. Stonebraker is also known for her friendship with the late singer Eva Cassidy, with whom she went on bike camping trips. Stonebraker took a photograph of Cassidy on one of these trips, which is featured on the Eva Cassidy website.
