Ellen Christine Colon-Lugo is a milliner and costume historian based in New York City. She is the owner of Ellen Christine Couture, a millinery shop in Manhattan, and has been designing and fabricating hats for over 30 years. Colon-Lugo is also an educator and has given lectures on the history of millinery. She is a member of the Milliners Guild and has exhibited her work in galleries and museums. In addition to her work in millinery, Colon-Lugo is also a supporter of women in business and has been recognized for her contributions to the fashion industry.
