Eric Firley

Biography:

Eric Firley is of French-German nationality and was born in Düsseldorf, Germany. He studied economics, architecture and city design in Fribourg, Lausanne, Weimar and other places. He is the author of the companion volumes The Urban Housing Handbook (2009) and The Urban Towers Handbook (2011). He is also an assistant professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture. He is known for his urban photography and has a large collection of photos on Flickr. He is also the initiator and co-author of Wiley’s Urban Handbook Series.
