Eugene Taniere, also known as Eugene Daniels, was an American artist born in San Francisco in 1862 and died in 1895. He was known for his still life paintings and his role as a teacher. His artwork "Lilacs" was created in 1891 and is part of the Crocker Art Museum's collection.
