Biography:
Eugenia Cristina Godoy de Jesus Zerbini is a Brazilian lawyer and writer. She graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo, but her post-graduation at UERJ was interrupted by SNI in 1977 due to 'perilous affiliation'. She then pursued her studies abroad, completing a master's degree in International Law at the University of Dijon. Returning to Brazil, she earned a doctorate from the University of São Paulo. Zerbini won the 2005 Sesc Literature Prize with As Netas da Ema, a novel about a group of friends around 50 years old who meet and reminisce about their experiences during the Brazilian dictatorship.
